Tim is a Strategic Advisor with Amazon Web Services, where he focuses on initiatives that build the digital economy across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining AWS, Tim held senior positions within the Australian Government’s Department of Industry, Science and Resources where he lead the team responsible for developing Australia’s first national AI strategy and for implementing the Australian Framework for AI Ethics. He has represented Australia at international forums such as the G20 Digital Economy Taskforce, the OECD AI Policy Observatory and the Global Partnership on AI. He is currently a member of the National AI Centre’s industry expert advisory panel on developing AI at Scale.
