Louise is a technology law specialist with over 20 years’ experience in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom. She advises technology consumers and suppliers on technology-related contracts, projects and regulatory compliance issues in a wide range of sectors. She specialises in AI and other new and emerging technologies, and regularly advises on regulatory, governance and other issues relating to the development, adoption, and use of AI. 

Louise is Deputy Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Forum of New Zealand | Te Kāhui Atamai Iahiko o Aotearoa, and has been an elected member of its Executive Council since 2018. 

Louise was named as one of New Zealand’s Most Influential Lawyers 2021 in the Changemaker category and is listed in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2024 guide as a Rising Star for both Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Data Protection.
