Russell Craig is Microsoft New Zealand’s National Technology Officer (NTO). Based in Wellington, he works with both public and private sector stakeholders on matters related to technology strategy and policy.
In his role, Russell focuses on helping customers understand and realise the broad transformational opportunities enabled by Microsoft’s cloud platform. He also works with policy makers and regulators requiring assurance about cloud services and advanced technologies, drives opportunities for cloud-enabled innovation, and addresses matters related to cybersecurity at both a customer and national level. Russell is currently a board member of the NZ Health IT Industry Association and a member of the Executive Council of Digital Identity NZ, and has previously been an Executive Councilor of the Artificial Intelligence Forum of New Zealand.
