Digital technologies of the 4th Industrial Age has transformed organisational forms and marketplaces, replacing traditional hierarchies with networks of collaborative, data-driven innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
The challenge is that governing boards and senior leadership teams in both the public and private sectors need to develop a deeper understanding of the impact of these ‘platform economy’ shifts, and in particular gain a deeper understanding of emergent organizational forms and public-private data collaboration models that they can either use to their advantage, or ignore at their peril.
My mission is to facilitate these conversations with these public/private stakeholders on the role of digital and data in organisations and help the private sector to collaborate with the public sector and researchers on ways to use private-sector data and analytical expertise for public good.
With extensive experience technology based regional innovation ecosystems in over 30 countries, I bring a high level of energy to the boards I serve on and have a real passion for collaborative innovation network design and data stewardship, backed up with a pragmatic approach to applied research practices.
