Jane is an AI/Machine Learning Engineer at Ambit AI Ltd, which provides innovative AI powered chatbots for empowering businesses to automate customer service at scale. She brings cutting-edge AI technology to lift the capability of chatbots to another level. Before joining Ambit, Jane studied as a PhD student at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). Her research topic is deep learning-based question answering systems. She received the PhD degree in April 2022. Her PhD research project was supported by a Callaghan Innovation R&D Fellowship Grant and sponsored by Ambit. Jane is passionate about using machine learning and deep learning techniques to solve practical problems in natural language processing. Prior to coming to New Zealand, she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electronic Engineering from Soochow University in China.
