Frith Tweedie is General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at Auror, where she is also responsible for developing Auror’s Responsible AI Framework. She has extensive experience advising New Zealand, Australian and UK clients on privacy, technology and AI law and ethical issues.
Before joining Auror, Frith was an Associate Partner at EY Law. She established and led the Digital Law practice in New Zealand before going on to lead the Digital Law practice across both Australia and NZ. While at EY she advised a wide range of organisations on privacy and technology issues, as well as contributing to the development of the national AI strategy and ethics framework for the Government of Malta.
Frith is on the Executive Council Member of the AI Forum NZ and the ANZ Advisory Board for the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). While chairing the AI Forum’s Law, Ethics & Society working group, she drafted the AI Forum’s Trustworthy AI in Aotearoa ethical principles.
